Responsibilities

As a PHP Developer at Codener LTD, you will be at the forefront of our web development projects, playing a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining custom WordPress plugins and high-quality PHP applications for our clients. You will collaborate closely with our development and design teams to create seamless solutions that elevate the functionality and user experience of our client’s digital assets.

  • Design and develop custom WordPress plugins based on project requirements

  • Develop high-quality PHP applications that meet client specifications

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate plugins and applications into websites

  • Maintain and update existing plugins and applications to ensure compatibility with the latest technologies

  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in WordPress and PHP development

  • Troubleshoot and resolve plugin and application-related issues reported by clients

  • Optimize performance for speed and scalability in PHP applications

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a focus on both WordPress Plugin Development and PHP Website Development

  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress core architecture and best practices

  • Experience with custom theme development and integration

  • Ability to develop high-quality PHP applications

  • Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins and their APIs

  • Ability to write clean, well-documented, and modular code

  • Understanding of security best practices in WordPress and PHP development

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with popular WordPress frameworks (e.g., Genesis, Redux)

  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular)

  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

  • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
